When you choose to give birth at one of the NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine labor and delivery units, you and your baby will be cared for by a multidisciplinary team of experts that provide the highest level of safety and care. Weill Cornell Medicine physicians run and manage the labor and delivery units in collaboration with NewYork-Presbyterian nurses, lactation consultants and other staff. Together, they have brought over 25,000 babies into the world.

Weill Cornell Medicine physicians manage two labor and delivery units: one in Lower Manhattan and the other on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Both units include several birthing rooms, as well as high-quality equipment for labor and delivery procedures and neonatal intensive care. The units include comfortable spaces designed to help you and your newborn bond, rest and prepare for going home.
