We are a Pediatric Health Care Provider serving families of New York City since 1980; now part of Weill Cornell Medicine, we remain committed to delivering world-classs care, right in your neighborhood.
Our practice provides the the best treatment possible for each of our patients. Manhattan is home to many young families whose own support systems are often far away. We are ready to serve as your 'extended family' and are here to support you in your entre to parenthood. The ongoing care of your child is our primary purpose. One of our pediatricians is available at all times for emergency phone calls. Our office staff works with you to make sure that regular check-ups and all appropriate vaccinations and shots are scheduled.
Parents are always welcome to visit our offices and meet the doctors prior to the birth of their child. These consultations provide a way for us to get to know you and provide any medical advice or preparation you might need at this time.
Visits and immunizations are scheduled according to the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics so that your baby receives the optimal medical attention at all stages of development. We offer lactation and nursing support as well as answer all questions about your newborn so you can feel assured that your baby is healthy and happy.
We see your child for regular check-ups on a schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. These visits vary from monthly after birth to annually for school-age children. The annual examination is a thorough, comprehensive review of your child's physical, emotional and social development, and we allow time for a detailed discussion of your concerns and questions.
Teenagers are given special time in addition to medical check-ups. We are available to discuss their specific concerns confidentially. We also consult with parents about their growing children and the issues surrounding adolescent development.
We have onsite laboratory facilities allowing us to get results from numerous tests including white blood cell counts, strep throat tests, lipid screening, anemia screening, flu testing, RSV testing, mono testing, sedimentation rates and urine analyses within minutes. Our on-site lab contributes to the rapid diagnosis of your child's condition. We also draw labs to send to outside facilities for tests that are unable to be analyzed onsite.
We are available to discuss your child's growth and developmental milestones, behavioral and emotional progress, and dietary and nutritional needs at any age.
We are available at all times to deal with emergent medical issues of your child. During office hours, a child with an emergent illness will be seen promptly. After regular office hours, one of our physicians is always available to respond Hours.
