For over two decades, the physicians and staff of the Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) of Weill Cornell Medicine have been helping people from around the world to complete their families.
Excellence in Patient Care: Turning Patients into Parents
Since 1988, over 21,000 babies have been born as a result of in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles performed at CRM. Though many of our patients have been treated unsuccessfully elsewhere, our world-renowned fertility experts have helped them to realize their dream of parenthood. Indeed, CRM succeeds under some of the most challenging circumstances.
One key to our high success rates is our emphasis on personalized medicine: We take the time to learn each patient’s unique story. This knowledge helps our physicians to choose the most medically sound, cost-effective and least-invasive treatment.
CRM offers comprehensive fertility services in a state-of-the-art setting. Our patient-care facilities at 1305 York Avenue in Manhattan’s Upper East Side include 30 examination and consultation rooms, on-site blood testing and clinical laboratories performing the most sophisticated tests and procedures, including sperm analysis, preimplantation genetic testing and intracytoplasmic sperm injection. Our physicians also see patients at offices in Garden City, Long Island; Mount Kisco, Westchester County; Tribeca; and the Upper West Side.
We offer on-site psychological support services to help patients cope with the stress that can accompany fertility treatment. CRM’s patient coordinators and financial coordinators help patients navigate the logistics of IVF and other assisted reproductive technologies.
Excellence in Research: Expanding the Possible
CRM is committed to the highest academic and scientific standards in patient care and biomedical research. Under the leadership of Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, CRM’s physicians and scientists conduct research on the frontiers of reproductive medicine, focusing on improving existing treatments and finding new ways to help patients become parents. In fact, many fertility treatments in use around the world were developed by CRM’s physicians and scientific experts.
Excellence in Education: Training the Next Generation of Fertility Specialists
Our commitment to excellence in medical education and status as one of the premier reproductive medicine programs attract national and international obstetrician/gynecologists who wish to become fertility specialists. CRM’s former fellows continue to carry out our mission of excellence in patient care and research at leading reproductive medicine centers throughout the United States and around the globe.

What Our Patients Are Saying
"When I went to see Dr Pereira, this was my third clinic and I had interviewed another 4 before I switched. I never had someone take the time and explain everything to me the way he did. Whenever I had a question it concern I got an email response the same day and when i was scared something happened he saw me the next day. He personally called to tell me the status of my embryos. Him and his staff always made me feel taken care of and I got pregnant with my first round of IVF. I cannot recommend recommend him enough!"
"We would not be expecting our little boy in December if it wasn’t for Dr. Elias! We will be forever grateful to him. Jessica, Joanne, Brianna, Lisa and Jane are amazing as well! Jessica was so encouraging telling me 2019 was my year as I came in time and time again. Jessica is really on top of her game and I really appreciate everything she did for me. She really made me stay calm throughout this whole process and always took care of all the complicated stuff I was too stressed out to handle. Lisa and Jane are Dr. Elias’s two IVF NYC nurses that call to give daily updates. They were also great to work with and when I called multiple times for follow up questions they always called me back the same day. Dr. Elias always made us feel comfortable. My husband and I had multiple appointments with him because of my pre-ops for my fibroid surgeries, lap, etc. He has great bed side manner, he’s very kind, compassionate and extremely patient. We always knew the success rates going in which helped when a treatment didn’t work and he always took the time to thoroughly explain everything. He always called me to follow up after surgeries and several times when I freaked out over results. I truly feel he genuinely cares about his patients…he was the only person that could calm me down (just ask my husband). You just feel a sense of comfort when he’s talking to you. Dr. Elias is definitely the most patient Dr. I have ever met. Although morning monitoring was fast, I never felt like he rushed me without answering my questions. Dr. Elias was able to remove my fibroid with three minimally invasive hysteroscopic surgeries. After multiple IUIs and laparoscopic surgery which confirmed my blocked tube, we ended up doing IVF. Dr. Elias never made us feel rushed to move onto the next step until we were ready, but also gave us his honest opinion, which I really appreciated. The first IVF cycle ended in a CP, but my first FET was a natural un-medicated cycle and it was successful!! I’ll never forget that moment Dr. Elias called me to tell me I was pregnant. He personally did my second transfer so I think he was my good luck charm. Thank GOD we met Dr. Elias. Thank you so so much for everything you did for us. We will definitely be using him for baby #2!"
"Dr. Glen Schattman is very kind, honest, and our only positive cycle so far has occurred because of him. Highly recommend him and the Cornell center for reproductive medicine."
