General pediatric hospitalists provide provide care in the inpatient and well baby units at NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Children's Hospital at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Hospitalists are medical professionals whose primary focus is caring for patients staying in the hospital with complex conditions, and establishing continuity of care among specialists and the patients' primary care physicians. Research shows that hospitalists can improve quality of care and patient satisfaction and reduce length of stay.
Our pediatric hospitalists may also work at NewYork-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital.
"Dr. Hau evaluated my newborn at NYP Lower Manhattan. He is the most gentle and caring pediatrician. He was so sweet to my baby boy and extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I wish he could be son's regular doctor, I absolutely adored him."
"Dr Faiz is really a nice and a good pedetrician , Dr faiz is helpful and don't like wasting time. He is always there if there is an emergency, always pick up his cell phone when I or my wife call him, I and my family traveled overseas and my daughter got really sick , Dr faiz gave us a medical advice over the phone. Not like others doctors when you call them calls go to the answer mashine or secretary. There is not a single time when I called him for my daughter in case of emergency without him picking the phone. Beside his professional career. He is really helpful in a personal level."
