Biographical Info

Dr. MacKenzi Hillard is a graduate of The College of William and Mary and attended medical school at the University of Virginia, where she stayed for residency training in Pediatrics.  She subsequently completed a three year fellowship in General Academic Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, during which she obtained a Masters in Health Professions Education from Rochester's Warner School of Education. 

Dr. Hillard joined Weill Cornell Medicine in 2014 and currently serves as the associate clerkship director in Pediatrics, co-directs the college's Interprofessional Education curriculum, and designs and facilitates standardized patient encounters in the Clinical Skills Center.  She also serves on the medical college admissions committee. Dr. Hillard works in the pediatric clinic on Helmsely Tower - 5 and as a pediatric hospitalist.  Her professional interests include clinical skills remediation, palliative care, and improving provider-patient communication, particularly across cultures to facilitate the delivery of equitable health care.
