About Deanna Hano, MD, MSc
Dr. Deanna Hano is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Hano received her Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. She received her MD from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her residency in pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City and continued her training at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY, where she completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Medicine while also obtaining a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. During fellowship, Dr. Hano received the Leo M. Davidoff Society Housestaff Teaching Award for her significant contributions to medical student education.
Dr. Hano is double board-certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. In addition to her clinical work, she is interested in medical education, hospital safety, and health outcomes research.
