I can’t say enough about Dr. DelPizzo he goes above and beyond for his patience! Wouldn’t feel comfortable with anyone else that’s why he is the best!!
Two thumbs up for Dr. Akhavan! Super knowledgeable and skilled, and always there to answer our questions.
I was very nervous at my first meeting with Dr Hu subsequent to my diagnosis of prostate cancer. My biggest fear was of urinary incontinence subsequent to treatment. Dr. Hu was very patient, he explained the cancer and the tests (including PSMA and Decipher genomic) needed for staging and surgery. Importantly (to me) he pointed out that if my initial treatment was surgery I would have radiation to fall back on should the cancer recur. He did the biopsy himself at the Lefrak Center, it was relatively painless and Dr Hu explained the results to me. Dr Hu was available via email text prior to surgery and even answered one of them on a Sunday. The surgery went well and Dr Hu went over the results (eg, margins) with me in the hospital and again at follow up visits in his office. I'm now 3 years out from my surgery (age 71) and at my pre-surgical baseline with total urinary control. I'm very glad that I went with surgery as opposed to radiation. Dr Hu is a world class surgeon!
