Stroke, Critical Care, and Neurohospitalist Program

This recently expanded program focuses on the entire spectrum of neurovascular diseases- (1) prevention and reduction of risk factors, (2) acute intervention with thrombolysis, endovascular therapy, and neurovascular surgery, (3) neurocritical care, and (4) rehabilitation. On the frontline of clinical research, the program is conducting trials of new drugs to prevent brain injury during stroke and prevent recurrent stroke.

The Rogosin Institute

The Rogosin Institute’s lipid program, the Maurice R. Greenberg Comprehensive Lipid Control Center, is one of the country’s preeminent research and treatment programs focused on cholesterol control.

Pediatric Hospital Medicine (Inpatient Only)

If your child needs to stay overnight in our inpatient setting, they will be cared for by a multidisciplinary team dedicated to caring for them. This team includes doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, child life specialists, and physical and occupational therapists, among others. Our pediatric hospital medicine attendings also care for thousands of babies each year in the newborn nursery.

Transplantation Medicine

The Transplant Program at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, led by physicians of Weill Cornell and Columbia, is a national leader in kidney and pancreas transplantation and has been ranked number 1 in the USA for the last ten years.  

The NYP/Weill Cornell Transplant Program is one of the largest programs in the country and the oldest transplant program in the New York metropolitan area.  We have performed more than 5,000 transplants since the program’s inception in 1963.  The program is renowned for:
