Is Weill Cornell Connect secure?
We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your health information. All communication between you and your healthcare provider and care team using Weill Cornell Connect is carried over a secure, encrypted connection.
Encryption means the information is coded in such a way that no one can read it during transmission. This secure connection utilizes industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption.
Your health records are stored behind a firewall to prohibit unauthorized access. In addition, Weill Cornell Connect access requires a username and password that you create yourself.

Can I bring a caretaker or someone to help me after my procedure?
Yes — our updated visitor policies are restricted, however if your caretaker is medically necessary, we will be sure to make accommodations as needed, just let us know upon entering our practice and be sure to speak with us about it when scheduling your appointment.

Sleep is central to our health, but not always simple. Your body and mind need high-quality sleep to function well and, unfortunately, several issues can prevent or disturb good sleep.
What about surgeries — both elective and emergency?
We’ve continued conducting medically necessary and emergency procedures — and added a COVID-19 test to our pre-operative lab routine. We take every precaution to ensure our operating rooms minimize the risk of infection and disease transmission — our operating room staff also has been tested for COVID-19.
If you’ve had to postpone an elective surgery, please call your physician's office to reschedule.
What about imaging and laboratory tests?
Our Referral Center can help you with that, too. We’re only seeing scheduled patients (no walk-ins) for lab tests and imaging, but will do our best to get you a same-day appointment.
