Personal Statement

It is my privilege to take care of the most vulnerable newborns and help families navigate the often difficult and stressful times in the NICU. I am honored to be part the neonatal team here at Weill Cornell to provide exceptional care for our patients.

Biographical Info

Dr. James Kim is an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an assistant attending pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center where he practices at NYP Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns and NYP Komansky Children's Hospital.

Dr. Kim completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He went on to complete residency training in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

His primary academic interest is neonatal education.
