Broadway musical star Rory O’Malley and Weill Cornell Medicine pediatric experts address every parent’s concerns about child health and COVID-19

You won’t want to miss the next program in our series with Playbill, featuring Broadway sensation Rory O’Malley, who recently played King George in the smash hit "Hamilton." On Wednesday, April 21 at 6pm, Rory and his husband Gerold will interview and lead a roundtable discussion with WCM pediatric specialists Drs. Sherry Huang,  Ben King,  Karen Acker about pediatric care during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The program, “Pediatric Care,” will cover information that every parent needs to know, including: distinguishing whether your child has a cold, flu, or COVID-19easing the pandemic’s social and psychological toll on childrenand the debate over vaccination safety. Rory and Gerold will ask the doctors critical questions about the safety of sending children back to school, and letting them participate in summer activitiessuch as going to the beach, swimming in public pools, and playing on playgrounds or in team sports--issues that are of particular concern to parents working outside the home  

This free presentation is the third in the three-part Q&A series, Centerstage with Healthcare Heroeswhich features Broadway stars interviewing WCM physicians about trending topics in health, wellness and COVID-19.
