Broadway star LaChanze leads Weill Cornell Medicine panel on Women’s Health
Although New York’s theaters remain closed, you can still get a virtual front row seat on Wednesday, April 7 at 6pm to see Tony Award winner LaChanze interview Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM)’s Dr. Nivee Amin & Dr. Susan Loeb-Zeitlin about the best ways for women to take care of their heart and reproductive health.
The free program, produced jointly by WCM and Playbill and launching on World Health Day, is the first of the three-part Q&A series, Centerstage with Healthcare Heroes, which features Broadway stars interviewing Weill Cornell Medicine physicians about trending topics in health, wellness and COVID-19.

LaChanze won the “Best Actress in a Musical” Tony Award in 2006 for her performance in The Color Purple. She also received Tony award nominations for her work in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, and Once on This Island, for which she also received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle award nominations.
In addition to interviewing Drs. Amin and Loeb-Zeitlin for the April 7 program on "Women's Health," LaChanze will take questions from the audience for the physicians and lead a panel discussion. As a front row guest, you will have the opportunity to not only watch but also interact with the physicians during the livestream, so bring questions!
