Who We Care For
The Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Cardiology cares for patients of all genders and gender identities who have heart disease or are at risk for heart disease. All of our team’s outstanding cardiologists have a high level of understanding of women’s heart health.
At the Women’s Heart Program, we have an additional specialized focus on important transitions in a woman’s life that may impact heart health, including pregnancy, after childbirth, menopause and other times.
Whether you have recently been diagnosed with heart disease, or you have a personal or family health history that puts you at a higher risk for heart disease, it’s never too late to take charge of your heart health.
Supportive and Empowering Care for Women
Patients at the Women’s Heart Program at Weill Cornell Medicine benefit from our supportive, compassionate approach to care that focuses on empowering all patients with information and strategies to improve health and quality of life. Our specialized approach allows us to connect on a deeper level with our patients. Knowledge of the intricacies of a woman’s life can help inform strategies that will work best in the context of each patient’s life situation.
