Transplant A to Z

The Transplant A to Z glossary contains definitions for many of the terms that you may come across while learning more about transplantation. We hope that this section will provide a more clear understanding of some complex terms.

Organ Donation After Death

Unfortunately, there are many myths and misconceptions that circulate about organ donation. We urge all people to educate themselves about organ donation so that they can make an informed decision as to whether they would like to donate their organs and other tissues at the time of death. More organ donors are needed so that patients waiting for lifesaving and life-enhancing transplants can be helped.

Please visit the links below to increase your knowledge about organ donation.

If you decide to become an organ donor, please sign up here and be sure to talk to your family about your wish to become an organ donor since they will make the ultimate decision.
