The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at Hospital for Special Surgery is affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, and provides complex and comprehensive diagnostic services for children with rheumatic diseases and related conditions.

Our expertise includes:

   - juvenile rheumatoid arthritis
   - lupus
   - pediatric scleroderma
   - vasculitis of childhood
   - Lyme disease
   - Raynaud's phenomenon
   - Other pediatric rheumatology conditions

Virtually every medicine that is used by the adult rheumatologist - in the appropriate child, with very careful monitoring - is now used by our experienced pediatric rheumatologists with excellent outcomes. With new biologic therapies, many of them tested at Hospital for Special Surgery, along with physical therapy, the disease can be controlled and children can regain normal function.
