WCM Brain Experts Will Discuss the Ways You Can Improve Your Brain Health
Several Weill Cornell Medicine brain specialists will discuss ways you can improve your brain health at this year’s JCC annual open house in Manhattan.
The event, “Fall Open House: Total Health for Your Body + Brain,” will feature lectures, workouts and panel discussions by a wide variety of experts, including Weill Cornell Medicine neurologists, neurological surgeons and neuropsychologists.
Our distinguished lineup includes:
- Dr. Matthew Fink, who will participate in a panel discussion called “Successful Aging and Your Brain”
- Dr. Ning Lin, who will give a talk called “Creativity and the Brain”
- Neuropsychologists Drs. Kenneth Perrine, Amanda Sacks-Zimmerman and Jessica Spat-Lemus who will participate in a session called “Retrain Your Brain: Taking Back Your Attention”
- Dr. Daniel Barone, who will discuss “Sleep and the Brain: Why Sleep is So Important for Health”
The open house, co-sponsored by NewYork-Presbyterian and the Dana Alliance, will take place on Sept. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. at 76th Street. The event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome but pre-registration is encouraged.
