Minimally Invasive Surgery: Laparoscopy and Thoracoscopy

We perform minimally invasive surgical procedures whenever possiblefeasible. Laparoscopy is used for abdominal procedures. This involves using a camera as well as telescopes and miniaturized highly sensitive operating tools through small incisions (cuts) in order to minimize scarring.

Thoracoscopy can be used to treat a variety of conditions involving the chest and lungs. This is done with a thoracoscope, a thin, flexible tube with a light and a small video camera at the end.

The advantages of minimal access surgery includes faster recovery and healing time, as well aswhile minimizing scarring.
