Prospective patients into the DIGEST program are screened by the DIGEST Care Team to determine the best pathway forward. DIGEST patients will be scheduled with their appointment(s) to align to the identified pathway. If multiple appointments are recommended, then we will work to get all diagnostic exams scheduled within a 2-week period. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment(s). If you have been asked to provide any previous testing results, films, or physician notes, please send all medical records to WCM-DIGESTrecords@med.cornell.edu.
Once you arrive, you will need to check in at the DHK lobby kiosk. Once you arrive to the Gastroenterology unit on DHK 9, our front desk staff may need you to verify your demographic information and insurance data and will require your signature on privacy notification and release forms. At this time, they will also ask you to pay any co-payment if applicable. To reduce time at check-in, complete the online registration via e-checkin.
Your DIGEST provider will discuss with you any upcoming diagnostic testing and/or care plan. We encourage you to ask questions.
The length of your visit will vary based upon the number of diagnostic appointments scheduled. You will be informed at time of confirmation.
