Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian Recognized for 'Putting the Glam in Mammogram'
June 10, 2019
Weill Cornell Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian was recently featured in the New York Times for the ways it is trying to make mammogram visits more comfortable.
The newspaper detailed the ways Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian used décor and spa-like amenities to make the mammogram process less intimidating in its downtown location. The goal, said radiology chairman Dr. Robert J. Min, was to “inject a little bit of life and positivity.” Doctors also hope the relaxed setting encourages patients to prioritize preventative care.
