Dr. Jaclyn Bonder brings a special insight to her work treating women with musculoskeletal problems related to pregnancy: she, too, had a difficult pregnancy.
"The experiences that I've had in being pregnant have made me want to connect with my patients," said Dr. Bonder, an assistant professor of rehabilitation medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and a physiatrist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. "I care about them. I understand what they're going through. I've been there."
