For more than 50 years, Weill Cornell Medicine has combined its renowned expertise in kidney and pancreas transplantation with a patient-centered approach. We provide compassionate, world-class care that maximizes patients' quality of life, no matter no complicated their case may be.
The Kidney and Pancreas Transplant program at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, in cooperation with the Rogosin Institute, was the first kidney transplant program in New York state. Since then, we have continued to develop, initiate, and offer all possible therapies for transplantation.
Our skilled transplant surgeons also offer progressive therapeutic options not generally available through other transplantation programs, with rejection and survival rates that rival the national standards.
If there is a way to safely transplant a patient, we can do it!
"Dr. Kapur was empathic, engaged, clear and explanatory. He provided my wife and me with treatment alternatives and helped us weigh pros and cons of each option. We left the consultation feeling reassured about moving forward with a plan. Looking forward to our next meeting."
