Personal Statement

Steven D. Rosenblatt, MD is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine – New York Presbyterian Hospital. 

After receiving his medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, Dr. Rosenblatt completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital. While in residency, he trained in pediatric otolaryngology at Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester, NY. Following residency, he completed a fellowship in Advanced Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Rosenblatt is Board Certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO).

In addition to managing common pediatric problems including ear infections, hearing loss, sinus/nasal disease, tonsil/adenoid disease, and sleep apnea, Dr. Rosenblatt has advanced training in complex airway surgery using both endoscopic and open techniques. He is experienced in laryngotracheal reconstruction, management of laryngeal clefts, correction of airway narrowing (glottic/subglottic/tracheal stenosis), and the management of persistent obstructive sleep apnea after prior surgery. Dr. Rosenblatt also has extensive training in management of congenital and acquired head & neck masses, endoscopic sinus surgery, and ear surgery. He is a member of the pediatric cochlear implant team at Weill Cornell Medicine – New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Dr. Rosenblatt is devoted to taking the best possible care of his patients. He is passionate about patient education and strives to ensure his patients and their families have a clear understanding of the diagnosis at hand. He works with patients and families so they can understand their treatment options and participate in the development of a holistic plan that is best for their situation. Dr. Rosenblatt truly enjoys working with infants, children, and young adults and is committed to making the treatment experience as easy as possible.

Dr. Steven D. Rosenblatt is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. He is board certified in Otolaryngology and has completed advanced fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology. Dr. Rosenblatt is trained in the management of common ear, nose, and throat disorders, and he specializes in advanced pediatric otolaryngology, with clinical interests in complex airway surgery, congenital and acquired lesions of the head & neck, sinus disease, and management of pediatric ear and hearing pathology, including cochlear implantation     Dr. Rosenblatt sees patients at the following locations: 428 East 72nd Street, suite 100 2315 Broadway, 3rd Floor     If you are scheduled to see Dr. Rosenblatt as a new patient, please print and complete the Patient Packet (under age 12) (over age 12) and bring it with you on the day of your appointment.
