Lymphoma is one of the most common cancers diagnosed among the adolescent and young adult patient population, ages 15-39. A patient of this age range can walk into a pediatric oncologist’s office or an adult medical oncologist’s office and receive vastly different treatment for the exact same diagnosis.

Adolescents and young adults with lymphoma may encounter challenges different from those of their younger and older adult counterparts, some of which can include fertility preservation and navigating a diagnosis and treatment throughout school or work. This complex set of needs necessitates a specialized multidisciplinary approach to care.

The Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Lymphoma Program at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is uniquely situated to guide AYAs through these challenges.

Under the leadership of lymphoma survivor Dr. Lisa Roth, the AYA Lymphoma Program provides concentrated care that addresses the intricate medical, personal and psychosocial needs specific to adolescents and young adults with lymphoma. Our expertise across pediatric, adolescent and young adult, and adult treatment regimens ensures that each individual who steps foot in our clinic will receive optimal treatment for his or her specific situation. From diagnosis to treatment to follow-up care, our team is with you every step of the way.
