Newsweek Ranks Center for Reproductive Medicine Nation’s #1 Fertility Clinic
Weill Cornell Medicine’s Ronald O. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine, renowned for its success in enabling patients achieve parenthood, has been ranked by Newsweek as the No. 1 fertility center in the nation.
Newsweek’s America’s Best Fertility Clinics 2023 surveyed more than 3,000 physicians and reproductive medicine professionals to rank the nation’s top 100, out of approximately 500, fertility clinics. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, demand for reproductive medicine has doubled in the past decade, and in 2020, 2 percent—or nearly 80,000 babies—were born after fertility treatment.
More than 31,500 babies have been born as a result of in vitro fertilization (IVF) performed at the Center for Reproductive Medicine, in addition to tens of thousands of babies born as a result of other treatment modalities since 1988. The center specializes in helping patients with complex medical histories achieve parenthood and offers comprehensive care and state-of-the-art fertility tests and procedures.
“We pride ourselves on helping aspiring parents realize their dreams, even if they have had unsuccessful attempts elsewhere,” said Dr. Zev Rosenwaks, director and physician-in-chief of the Center for Reproductive Medicine. “Our physicians and scientists strive to enhance existing treatments and develop new therapies for the benefit of patients everywhere. This recognition by the top specialists in the nation is a reflection of that commitment.”
The center offers a wide variety of fertility services and treatment for all reproductive disorders including IVF; intracytoplasmic sperm injection, a procedure used to overcome male infertility that was pioneered by a center physician; preimplantation genetic testing; sperm analysis; and fertility preservation. The center’s physicians employ a personalized approach in treating each and every patient.
The Center for Reproductive Medicine has care facilities at Weill Cornell Medicine’s main campus on the Upper East Side, as well as in Tribeca, Brooklyn, Garden City, Mount Kisco and Southampton. For more information, visit ivf.org.
