Weill Cornell Medical Psychiatry Consultants

The Medical Psychiatry Consultants receives referrals from Weill Cornell Medicine primary care physicians and select specialty physicians. Our patients receive consultations and evidence-based interventions to address common behavioral health concerns, such as anxiety and depression, adjustment-related issues, psychopharmacology in medical illness and pregnancy, and living with chronic disease. Patients prescribed medications at the Medical Psychiatry Consultants are transitioned back to their primary care physicians for ongoing management or referred out to longer-term psychiatric prescribers if appropriate.
