Personal Statement

Being a primary care physician is a privilege. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my patients and building lasting relationships. I value the opportunity to work with each patient and personalize their care as they navigate health challenges. This continues to motivate me to provide up-to-date and evidence-based medical care in a collaborative environment.

Biographical Info

Dr. Chohan grew up in Texas. She went to college at University of Texas in Austin, where she studied psychology in addition to her major in biological studies. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her internal medicine residency at Emory University. While in residency, her training focused on primary and preventative care, and she spent time in Ethiopia on a global health scholarship. Before joining Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Chohan practiced in Atlanta, where she served her local community as a primary care physician for 6 years. Dr. Chohan is board certified by American Board of Internal Medicine.
