We flew all the way to NYC from FL to have Dr. Merianos perform my child's umbilical hernia operation. We had originally visited John Hopkins All Children's in St. Pete but they don't care at all about the cosmetic appearance. Yes this is a medical procedure, but you also want to make sure your kid isn't left with a deflated balloon hanging off their stomach. Three weeks into recovery, the belly button looks more normal than I would've thought. With time I can already see we will probably never notice they had surgery, and this all thanks to Dr. Merianos. He went above and beyond to make sure my child felt comfortable and did an amazing job. No one wants their kid to go through surgery, but if your kid has to have it Dr. Merianos is the best!
