About Rajiv Kinkhabwala, M.D.
It may sound trite, but I went into medicine, like many others, to help people. I had a very early interest in biological science and the body, and always enjoyed helping people with even simple tasks when I was very young. Medicine was the perfect way for me to combine these two facets of my personality. I not only care for my patients, I care about them, and find it extremely fulfilling to do so on a longitudinal basis. I endeavor to take a holistic approach to helping people, keeping up to date with the latest scientific developments as they apply to clinical care, but also to learn about other equally important impacts on health, such as mental well-being, nutrition, exercise, sleep, vocation, and the quality of interpersonal relationships. I do not believe there is one single answer to good health for every individual. My hope is I can help people to live quality lives, the bedrock of which I believe is good health.
Dr. Rajiv Kinkhabwala was born in York, Pennsylvania and grew up in the central New Jersey town of East Brunswick.
