About Amanda Lin, M.D.
Primary Care is extremely rewarding for me as I enjoy developing long-lasting, meaningful relationships where I get to know my patients as a whole person in order to fully understand their background and optimize their needs. As a family medicine physician, I am able to care for multiple generations within a family on a wide variety of needs, ranging from a baby’s routine check up to their grandparent's urgent care visit or diabetes follow up appointment. It is important to me to provide welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative care for my patients, and I find great joy in helping them achieve their best overall health and well-being.
Dr. Lin was born and raised in Houston, TX and received her BS in biology and minor in psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She then attended UT Houston McGovern Medical School where she earned her dual MD and Masters in Public Health degrees, with interest in health equity, reproductive health, and underserved populations. She completed her family medicine residency at Atlantic Health System’s Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Lin has interests in preventative medicine, pediatrics, and women’s health.
