About Henry Evans, MD
I chose a career in pediatrics to care for patients during their most formative years and help them achieve a lifetime of health and personal fulfilment. I strive to provide comprehensive care for children of all ages while honoring each patient and family's individual needs and values. It brings me true joy to serve the New York City community as part of Weill Cornell Medicine's pediatric team.
Dr. Evans is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina. He went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with highest honors in Biology. He earned his medical degree from Columbia University and completed his pediatrics residency at the University of Washington/Seattle Children's Hospital, where he led initiatives in quality improvement and LGBTQ+ care. Dr. Evans is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a current Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
