Inside Medicine: Dr. Erica Jones

Cardiologist Dr. Erica Jones is one of the many hard-working and dedicated doctors transforming the lives of her patients at Weill Cornell Medicine. With a great passion for helping others and a dedication to utilizing the most advanced research available to treat her patients, she is making great strides every day as she helps to prevent and manage heart disease.

With 20 years of experience working as a cardiologist, no one knows better than Dr. Jones how often patients with zero previous symptoms can fall victim to heart disease after their first heart attack.

Dr. Jones completed her residency and fellowship with Weill Cornell Medicine and was overjoyed when offered a position in cardiology with us because she knew she could do amazing work right here at home.

She now runs the clinical arm of The Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging, where she is working to mentor cardiovascular fellows on how they can translate the research collected at the institute directly into patient care.
