Advances in Managing Mismatch Repair-Deficient Colon Cancer and Lynch Syndrome

Mismatch repair-deficient (dMMR) colon cancer, also known as microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H), is a biologically distinct form of colorectal cancer caused by mutations in some of the genes that are involved in correcting mistakes made when DNA is copied in a cell.
