About Michael Mintz, M.D.
Dr. Michael Mintz specializes in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. He is an assistant professor of medicine and member of the Jill Roberts Center for IBD at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Mintz attended medical school at Stony Brook University, where he was elected to the alpha omega alpha (AOA) medical honor society. He completed his medical residency training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He then did his gastroenterology fellowship with subspecialty training in inflammatory bowel disease at New York Presbyterian Hospital- Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Mintz is a co-investigator in multiple clinical trials exploring novel advanced therapeutics in both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. He sees patients in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.
