Personal Statement

I love being a family medicine physician because I can treat patients of all ages and build long lasting relationships with them. My focus is to optimize the well-being of my patients. My motto is to treat my patients like they are my family.

Biographical Info

Dr. Benito is originally from Queens, NY. She went to college at The City College of New York, where she studied biochemistry in addition to her pre-med studies. She worked in several research facilities such as the CUNY research foundation, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense. She earned her medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency training at Southampton Hospital. Dr. Benito has a particular interest in family medicine, preventive medicine and women’s health. She is board certified in family medicine and has cared for the community of the east end of Long Island since 2010.
