Personal Statement

Dr. Goldberg’s primary interest is in the care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit as well as Pulmonary Disease. She is part of the Pulmonary Procedure Service where she performs diagnostic pulmonary procedures such as bronchoscopy and pleural catheter placement. She is also a member of the VV-ECMO Consultation service in conjunction with the department of Cardiothoracic Surgery. She is involved in Quality Outcomes Initiatives within the division, particularly in relation to bronchoscopy and procedure-related outcomes, and has performed research in this area. She completed her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at New York Presbyterian – Weill Cornell Medicine before joining on as faculty.
