About Kathlyne Purrini, C.P.N.P.
Kathlyne Purrini, MSN, CPNP, is a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner with the Pediatric Otolaryngology Department and serves as the Program Coordinator for Weill Cornell's Pediatric Craniofacial and Aerodigestive Teams. Kathlyne earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and her Master of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University, graduating with honors from both institutions. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Kathlyne worked as a registered nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medicine in the Pediatric Step-Down Unit.
Weill Cornell's multidisciplinary teams provide a wide range of care to children with complex medical problems. Kathlyne provides compassionate and high-quality care for her patients. She encourages families to take part in their child's treatment plan and enjoys educating and empowering them throughout the process.
External Relationships
Relationships and collaborations with for-profit and not-for profit organizations are of vital importance to our faculty because these exchanges of scientific information foster innovation. As experts in their fields, WCM physicians and scientists are sought after by many organizations to consult and educate. WCM and its faculty make this information available to the public, thus creating a transparent environment.
