Personal Statement

As a neonatologist, it is my joy and privilege to care for the smallest and most vulnerable patients, and to support them and their families through their journey in the NICU. I believe strongly in trauma-informed care and seek to provide the best care for all families by incorporating evidence-based medicine with a shared decision-making model. As a Malaysian-born physician with clinical experience in India and Malaysia, I am passionate about caring for New York City’s diverse community.
