Biography

Dr. Eric Nelson received his Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree at the Long Island Au.D. Consortium, consisting of: Adelphi, Hofstra, and St. John's Universities. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University in Speech-Language-Hearing Science. He is licensed in Audiology through the New York State Department of Education. He holds and maintains the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Eric Nelson currently works at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he also completed his doctoral externship. His clinical expertise includes the diagnosis of hearing loss, vestibular/balance assessment,  hearing conservation, musician hearing protection, and audiological rehabilitation of adult hearing loss, including amplification evaluation, fitting, and orientation.
