Biographical Info

Dr. Ombres received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Allegheny College. She completed her Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Studies at Pennsylvania State University and received her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of the Americas. After graduating medical school, Dr. Ombres completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of South Florida (2017-2021) followed by a Breast Pathology Fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (2021-2022) and an Oncologic Surgical Pathology Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (2022-2023). She joins us in our Breast Pathology division in the department at Weill Cornell Medicine.
