About Andrea Beth Temkin, Psy.D.
I am a licensed psychologist with expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety, depression, attention-deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and related conditions. My patient offerings include individual and group therapy for children, teens, and young adults. I am a certified therapist in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and I offer therapy and groups for parents of youth exhibiting mood or behavioral difficulties.
In addition to my faculty practice, I am a provider and investigator with the Center for Youth Mental Health at NewYork-Presbyterian. My research has centered on ways to improve accessibility of services provided to parents and families, as well as the use of evidence-based practices across disorders.
