Personal Statement

I am a pediatric pulmonologist dedicated to caring for infants, children, and adolescents with lung and airway conditions. I specialize in asthma, chronic lung disease of prematurity, and complex respiratory infections.  As both a physician and a researcher, I like to bring the latest scientific advances directly into clinical care. My research focuses on understanding the biological mechanisms of childhood lung diseases with the goal of developing new and more effective therapies. I am deeply committed to improving outcomes for children with respiratory disease, combining cutting-edge research with hands-on clinical care to provide the highest level of treatment.
