Suzanne Rachel Cole, M.D.
I chose to pursue a career in family medicine because I value the unique and lasting relationship between doctor and patient found in primary care.
In addition, as a family doctor, I have often taken care of multiple generations in a single family. This perspective helps to forge strong ties with my patients and fosters a greater understanding of an individual’s concerns.
I have a particular passion for preventive medicine and I strive to maintain wellness through education, counseling and up to date medical care.
Suzanne Cole grew up on the North Shore of Long Island. She attended college at Washington University in Saint Louis, where she studied history and Italian. She then received her MD from Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York. In 2002, she completed a family medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, where she served as chief resident.
She has had a varied career, practicing primary care in different parts of the country, including both rural and urban settings. She practiced locally in Long Island city, New York for many years and is now happy to establish her practice on the upper west side of Manhattan. She has interests in preventative care and wellness, as well as behavioral health.
