Personal Statement

Cardiology is a dynamic and exciting field in which patient care is consistently improved by updates in diagnostic techniques and treatment options. My goal as a clinical cardiologist is to apply these advancements to improving my patients' health and well being.

Biographical Info

Dr. Su Yuan grew up in Toronto, Canada where she completed her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. She completed her medical degree at the University of Calgary, then her Internal Medicine and Cardiology training at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed specialized training in adult echocardiography at the University of Alberta Mazankowski Heart Institute in Edmonton, and in adult congenital heart disease (ACHD) at the University of Toronto, Toronto General Hospital. She also has a Masters degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario.Dr. Yuan joined the full-time faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a specialist in Adult Congenital Heart Disease and Echocardiography. Her cardiologist practice includes patients with both acquired and congenital heart disease.
