Personal Statement

My goal as a clinician is to use an evidence-based approach to provide compassionate care to patients and their families. As an educator and expert in medical education, I am committed to educating the next generation of physicians through leading-edge pedagogy and simulation techniques. 

Biographical Info

Dr. Sarah Grout is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She received her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Grout completed her pediatrics residency at Indiana University Riley Hospital for Children and a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the University of Louisville prior to joining the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine. She also holds a Master's degree in Health Professions Education from the University of Louisville. She is interested in procedural training and the use of simulation in medical education.
