Personal Statement

As a surgical neuro-oncologist, I strive to provide my patients with the most technically advanced, compassionate care possible. Being diagnosed with a brain tumor is always unexpected and difficult, but we strive to ensure that you are as fully informed as possible about your diagnosis and the proposed treatment plan. We realize that every person is different and thus we take great care to  construct an individualized treatment plan in a multi-disciplinary setting. In addition, I believe that safety of a surgical procedure is of utmost importance; to that end, we use the most advanced brain mapping and microsurgical techniques available to maximize tumor removal and optimize safety. Finally, we promise to be fully available to you both pre- and postoperatively as you navigate the healing process.
