Personal Statement

Ro-Jay Reid is a hospitalist who cares for hospitalized patients only and does not have out-patient practices.

Biographical Info

Dr. Reid is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician who has completed his undergraduate degree at Oakwood University and received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. After graduating from medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center and then joined the Weill Cornell Medicine community in 2021 as an Instructor in Medicine and as a health equity research fellow in the Master’s of Science in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Services Research program.

Dr. Reid spends his time as a hospitalist (seeing acute patients with diverse medical conditions) and as a researcher with a special interest in social determinants of health and successful aging for which he has received a grant from the American Heart Association.

Dr. Reid has also passed his American Board of Internal Medicine exams and is now a board-certified Internal Medicine physician.
