About Liana Senaldi, M.D.
As a neonatologist, I feel honored to work with the smallest and most vulnerable infants. I strive to provide evidence based family-centered care with our multidisciplinary team, and help families as they navigate the stressful experience of having a baby in the NICU. I take great joy in seeing our NICU graduates thrive into childhood.
Dr. Liana Senaldi is an Instructor in Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center where she practices at NYP Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns and NYP Komansky Children's Hospital.
Dr. Senaldi completed her undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies. Prior to starting medical school, she received an NIH Intramural Research Training Award and conducted research at the NCI. She earned her medical degree (M.D.) from NYU School of Medicine. She went on to complete residency training in pediatrics and a fellowship in neonatal-perinatal medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Senaldi’s clinical interests include antibiotic stewardship in the NICU. Her lab research aims to understand the inheritance of disease and how prenatal exposures affect germ cell biology and risk of disease in descendants.
