Personal Statement

The Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine's Outpatient Palliative Care Program is a specialty care program, supporting patients currently under the care of a Weill Cornell Medicine physician, and requiring an internal referral from a Weill Cornell Medicine clinician. Please speak to your primary care and/or other specialist about this program and whether the care offered by this specialty program is appropriate for your medical needs. Program employees offer in-person, telehealth and home visits. This program does not currently support patients who are not under the active care of a Weill Cornell Medicine physician.

Biographical Info

Lawrence Asprec, MD, completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and his Hospice and Palliative Care Medicine fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center. His interests focus on integrating palliative care within the field of rehabilitation medicine.
