Personal Statement

My desire to provide direct patient care and build meaningful relationships became very clear as my trajectory shifted from that of a scientist to physician. With my passion for working with communities and participating in medical mission trips in under-served areas aboard, I became acutely aware of the importance of preventative medicine and caring for the whole well-being of a person. I enjoy the collaborative and unique relationship that primary care physicians have with their patients in encouraging and guiding them towards their best health.
