Pamela P. Rubio joins the division as our new Jay Monahan Center Nurse Practitioner. She recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College and is board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She also holds certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Pamela brings nearly eight years of nursing experience across diverse clinical settings. Most recently, she served as a Preoperative Admissions Registered Nurse at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she performed comprehensive preoperative assessments, coordinated care across multiple surgical specialties, and provided patient education and procedural support. Her prior experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens and Long Island Jewish Medical Center includes medical-surgical, telemetry, respiratory, and complex inpatient care, caring for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.Pamela's strong clinical background, commitment to high-quality patient care, and collaborative approach make her an excellent addition to our team while caring or our gastroenterology patients.
